THE VOYAGE OF ULYSSES BLACK

The Voyage of Ulysses Black charts a series of 9 ‘Explorations in Mythology’ undertaken by myself forming the culmination of the HGA working, and the subsequent integration of both that ‘other’ and ‘I’ into a single entity.
The works draw heavily on my background in magick and ritual, and were fuelled by both structures of LiveArt / Performance Art and Ordeal.
In 2023 I rediscovered the presumed lost pdf of the expanded edition of the Voyage of Ulysses Black. The original had been published in a limited quantity in 2009 and detailed the first 7 of 9 ‘Explorations in Mythology’ that comprised this series of workings. Because the creation of the book itself formed ‘Exploration 8’, both it and ‘Exploration 9’ were unable to be featured in the original edition.
In 2011 into 2012 I prepared the revised and expanded edition to include those two Explorations, and some additional reflections. Upon completion I immediately moved on from it, and the pdf ended up languishing for years until eventually thought lost.
A4 size, 104pp, full colour richly populated with photographs, artwork, designs and original text expounding the events and the story of what was unfolding.
