Guernsey & Alderney Masonic Badge
Relatively modest circular embroidered badge on a lambskin backing, presumably for an apron? What is particularly charming is the tiny heraldic device located in the centre.
On the left on a field of red, three tiny black and white towers with a black and white chevron passing between. I think this identifies the ‘Masons Company of London’ (see here for a different example).
On the right its a bit more confusing. The closest thing I have come across that explains this motif is the Scottish “Macdougall Armorial Bearings” though why that would be I do not, unless there is some scottish masonic connection?
