THE SORCERY OF JACK MACBETH

‘Jack Macbeth’ is the pseudonym of Ulysses Black and is used exclusively with regard to his own work around the subject of sorcery initially developed in the years 1995-2002. In 2002 I published the first book under this name, The Totemic Invocation of the Shadow Selves, in which I hand bound every copy myself, and inscribed each copy with a unique drawing pertinent to the sorcery I was then developing.

Between 2002-2008 I worked extensively at the practice of sorcery building on the Totemic Invocation, developing a powerful and personal system that both instigated profound personal change and ingrained perceptual processes and thought patterns that remain intrinsic to my sense of self and underpin much of life thereafter.

During this period of time I wrote the book ‘IXI’ in which i consolidated and explored my own personal mythos. This five volume book, for which the illustrations are forth-coming is in the process of being put together for publication sometime in 2024.

Follow the links below for some material related to Jack Macbeth and sorcery.

The video on the right is from the ‘Summer of Love’ by Scarlet Imprint, in which as part of the talk I gave I also ‘outed myself’ as Jack Macbeth.
